Jul 23, 2017 · This project is an extension of the previous project (Custom Wake Word for Google Assistant on Raspberry Pi). The previous project showcased the triggering of Google Assistant on Raspberry Pi using a pushbutton and a custom wake word. This project shows how to trigger google assistant SDK on Pi using an ultrasonic sensor, HC-SR04. Every logic pin has a minimum "turn-on" and a maximum "turn-off" voltage value and this will be specified in the data sheet. Pcmanbob indicates for 3.3V systems, the minimum turn-on is typically around 1.8-2.0V, so resistors that give you a value between that and 3V should be ok. Continuing further in our Raspberry Pi exploration, we will do a project on Raspberry Pi based Color Detection.
