Jul 23, 2017 · This project is an extension of the previous project (Custom Wake Word for Google Assistant on Raspberry Pi). The previous project showcased the triggering of Google Assistant on Raspberry Pi using a pushbutton and a custom wake word. This project shows how to trigger google assistant SDK on Pi using an ultrasonic sensor, HC-SR04. Every logic pin has a minimum "turn-on" and a maximum "turn-off" voltage value and this will be specified in the data sheet. Pcmanbob indicates for 3.3V systems, the minimum turn-on is typically around 1.8-2.0V, so resistors that give you a value between that and 3V should be ok. Continuing further in our Raspberry Pi exploration, we will do a project on Raspberry Pi based Color Detection. In this project, we will learn about TCS3200 Color Sensor and how the Raspberry Pi Color Sensor (TCS3200, to be specific) interface can be implemented for Color Detection. Dec 29, 2015 · The ECHO output is of 5v. The input pin of Raspberry Pi GPIO is rated at 3.3v. So 5v cannot be directly given to the unprotected 3.3v input pin. Therefore we use a voltage divider circuit using appropriate resistors to bring down the voltage to 3.3V. For more detail: Interfacing HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor with Raspberry Pi Oct 07, 2017 · Using HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Range Sensor with Raspberry Pi 2 The HC-SR04 ultrasonic range finder is a sensor that provides 2cm to 400cm of non-contact measurement functionality with a ranging accuracy that can reach up to 3mm.

Jun 28, 2016 · I'm trying to read the distance from an ultrasonic sensor (HC-SR04) but the only values I get is 0 and 265.xx. I am using an Raspberry Pi 2 with Windows 10 IoT Core installed. I've written the code in C#. This is the ultrasonic sensor class: HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor With Raspberry Pi 2: Hello every one ... my name is Ahmed Darwish ... this is my first experience with the Raspberry Pi and I'd like to share it with you all. I have been asked to prepare a code that works on Python to control 8 ultrasonic sensors connected to a Raspb...
Jan 30, 2015 · In this tutorial we will learn about interfacing HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor with Raspberry Pi. Here we are using Python programming language.
Attention: In this case, we know (according to the data sheet) that the output voltage never exceeds 2.8V, although we supply the sensor with 5V. Other modules (analog and digital) often return signals with voltages as high as the applied voltage. Failure to do so may result in damage to the Raspberry Pi. The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensor we’ll be using in this tutorial for the Raspberry Pi has four pins: ground (GND), Echo Pulse Output (ECHO), Trigger Pulse Input (TRIG), and 5V Supply (Vcc). A Sensirion flow or differential pressure sensor. In this tutorial we connect one SFM3000 to the I 2 C port 0 and one SDP631 to the I 2 C port 1. However, any compatible sensor with an I 2 C interface should work. Wires and pull up resistors to connect the sensors to Raspberry Pi; An internet connection on Raspberry Pi. I'm trying to use the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor on a Raspberry Pi 3 with Python. I got the majority the code from this site. However, When I reduce the sleep time between each measurement of distance, The code gets stuck in the while GPIO.input(ECHO)==0: loop and then that stops everything.
